Our Community Allotment
Based at Glas Meadows allotments, just behind Morrisons. We grow a range of organic vegetables. We have a strong root in helping to keep our environment healthy so chemical free practices and minimal food miles are at the heart of everything we do.
Our Commitment to Biodiversity
We actively promote biodiversity by creating and protecting spaces where wildlife can thrive. Through planting a rich mix of native species, supporting pollinators, eliminating chemical use, and managing our land gently, we help build a healthy, resilient environment. We also create habitats such as log piles, ponds, bug hotels, nesting boxes, and involve our community in learning, recording, and caring for nature. By connecting green spaces and nurturing soil health, we’re making our place a welcoming home for plants, insects, and animals alike.
Please reach out if you would like to get involved! We meet up every Tuesday between 4-6pm during the months of April to October at the Community Allotment. What three words: anchors.committed.credible
