Myddleton Avenue
We identified a piece of land and adopted it as another growing space
We did this by producing a questionaire and canvasing opinion to ascertain whether residents of the area would be interested in creating another garden to grow their own food, helping more people get involved.
We actively promoted the new growing space among local residents through posters, social media, word of mouth, and partnerships with schools, housing groups, and community organisations.
We invited people of all ages and abilities to take part, offering open days, taster sessions, and simple starter activities to help newcomers feel confident.
Highlight the benefits—fresh food, learning opportunities, wellbeing, and social connection, to encourage ongoing involvement and build a sense of ownership within the community.
Please reach out if you would like to get involved. We meet up every Tuesday between 4-6pm during the months of:
April to October at the Community Allotment ///anchors.committed.credible
